About the Team/Role
This Senior Devops Engineer position will help manage and support different client environments in AWS Cloud. This person should be able to add improvements to the existing pipeline and able to automate the deployments without any downtime.
How you’ll make an impact
Writing scripts to automate the pipeline(Ansible, Github actio, Python).
Creating the cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
Migrating the application from Jenkins CD to Argo CD.
Implementing Argo Rollouts.
Supporting the applications in the PROD.
Helping the project teams in deploying the applications and creating the environments.
Upgrading the clusters to the latest versions.
Ability to document clear/precise status reports.
Must have experience in 5+ years in Devops, Github Actions ( extended library script writing), Terraform, Kubernetes, Helmcharts, Python, AWS & AZURE, OS: Linux.
Experience you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred and minimum 5+ years of Devops experience in his/her total IT experience.
Certified AWS Architect associate (nice to have).
CKD/ CKA (Nice to have).
Strong Networking and Security ACL experience.
This is a remote position with frequent office visits according to WEX policy and as needed.
Good to have : Argo CD, Argo Rollouts, Istio.
Nice to have: Java ,SPOCK, Node Js , DataDog, AWS SDK basic knowledge.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and organize work tasks for maximum efficiency.
A “can do” attitude.
Schedule flexibility to accommodate different time zones.
Ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audiences.
Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Quick learning and implementation ability are needed.
