On behalf of FutureMeds, GT is looking for an HR Business Partner/HR Manager interested in growing in a fast-paced life sciences company.

About the Role

FutureMeds is looking for a dynamic, confident, and experienced HR Manager to join a passionate, growing team in Germany.

This role offers the chance to establish and grow HR functions in Germany, contributing to global initiatives while ensuring compliance with local labor laws.

Location: Based in Berlin with regular travel to Frankfurt

Type of employment: direct employment on a permanent contract base

Team: Starting as a standalone role, with expanding as new sites open in Germany.

Reporting: You will report to the Country MD and the Group HR Director. You will provide HR support to Site Directors, manage Country HR operations, and support the global HR agenda.

Responsibilities:
  • Business Partnering:

    • Advise the Country MD and Site Directors on HR matters, ensure compliance with labor laws, and serve as a key adviser to the Country leadership team.

  • HR Operations

    • Work with the global project lead to oversee HR data migration to the new HRIS, conduct user training, ensure accurate data entry, generate reports, and monitor trends.

    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment of all Country hires by producing comprehensive job profiles, vacancy advertising, CV screening, candidate administration and onboarding

    • Manage timely and accurate submission of monthly payroll data to payroll partner

    • Ensure timely & accurate updating and creation of HR policies

    • Manage all employee documentation including salary review information, reference letters, etc.

  • Culture & Engagement

    • Collaborate with the Country MD, Site Directors, and Global HR Director to ensure full cultural assimilation of site teams to FutureMeds

    • Manage Country initiatives to embed Progress PACT across the Country

    • Manage Country employee relations issues and drive Country initiatives to promote employee wellbeing

    • Oversee the annual performance management review

    • Support the MD and Site Directors to assess development needs and develop training plans

  • Global HR

    • Contribute to the global HR team by providing local Country insights and overseeing the implementation of global HR initiatives at the Country level

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:
  • 3-5 years experience as an HR Business Partner ETA

  • Strong understanding of German labor law and working practices

  • Educated to degree level/equivalent

  • Experience of using and migrating HR systems

  • Experience in supporting cultural assimilation

  • Fluency in English & German

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong team player

Nice-to-have
  • Experience in Clinical Trials/Life Sciences companies

  • Global/ SME experience

  • International experience
