The Integration Management Office Associate supports the strategy, execution and delivery of programs that seek to materially shift the trajectory of our business. This role will be responsible for the program management of one or several of Velera’s top priorities, including the integration efforts. This position will partner with a broad group of stakeholders to drive complex programs ensuring value is realized. The Associate, Integration Management Office (IMO) also supports the IMO process  with meeting preparation, analysis, problem solving, adminsitration of the supporting toolset, and program insight preparation.  

Essential Functions & Responsibilities 

  • Support complex, large-scale business transformation and integration programs with enterprise, cross-functional, and strategic impact. 

  • Works closely with the leadership, sponsor, core team, and SMEs from project initiation through implementation and transition to BAU. 

  • Support the governance of the integration strategy creation, execution, project management and communication 

  • Remove ambiguity from a complex initiative and break it down to simple tasks for the project team to understand and complete. 

  • Act as a key point of contact for Workstream Leads, Functional Leads, or Initiative Owners with issues or questions that require problem solving, coordinate with IMO to determine and implement resolution. 

  • Assist leaders and teams with skills in process development, project management, facilitation, problem solving and other skills as needed to accelerate transformation/integration. 

  • Support the problem solving of cross-functional issues, weighing the input of various stakeholders, and keeping in mind the overall initiative goals. 

  • Work with the cross-functional partners to facilitate prioritization and business decisions, ensuring a cohesive end-to-end customer and employee experience. Work to connect all the plans into a combined organizational view and identify gaps and opportunities. 

  • Aid in the development and monitoring of strategic business cases. Work with Value Capture leads to manage to program budgets. 

  • Create metrics and dashboards to track program objectives and measure impact. 

  • Partner with VP, Integration Management Office to provide recommendations on the approach to manage complex risks and issues and partner with leaders to drive to resolution. 

  • Continuously assist in identifying initiatives with roadblocks or delays, defining actions needed to unblock and following up to ensure “course correction” problem solving. 

  • Bring transformational leadership to motivate change in behavior across Velera. 

  • Understand and use complex change management principles and standard processes to ensure business acceptance and user effectiveness. 

  • Build compelling content to communicate key program messaging and drive decisions. 

  • Report status by providing periodic updates, highlighting risks, issues, and concerns Identify dependencies on programs across Velera, align objectives and monitor progress. 

  • Assist with aligning stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions. 

  • Address program and interpersonal conflict head-on and tactfully. 

  • Identify and proactively include the correct stakeholders into the program team and communications. 

  • Escalate to resolve complex stakeholder issues. 

  • Operationally supports IMO meetings: prepare meeting invitations, take/send and close-loop on meeting actions, produce high-quality presentation material when required, lead interactions with Workstream leads and Initiative Owners in preparation for IMO meetings. 

  • Validates and ensures reporting reflects program performance  

  • Issue standard and ad hoc reports and conduct analysis as required. 

  • Serves as the data/tool point of contact answering inquiries, creating and managing users, addressing workspace questions, and assisting with and coaching users on tool management and tracking. 

  • Collaborates with dedicated McKinsey team members to update dashboards and tool configuration based on evolving business needs. 

  • Support the preparation of  materials for Steering Committees and coordinates on content with Workstream and Functional leads 

  • Creates high-level read-out reports on the progress of the program as needed (e.g., lessons learned, transformation sharing/celebrations, change stories, program guidance documents, etc.). 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or organizational development required.  

  • MBA preferred.  

  • Project management, organizational change management and Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.    

Experience 

  • Four (4) years of experience in leading large-scale projects, process improvement and transformational organizational initiatives to drive efficiencies and operational effectiveness required.  Prior business consulting experience with strong capability in assessing, measuring, monitoring, and reporting against OKRs/KPIs preferred.

$124,500.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
