About the Job
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of Vendasta’s SaaS platform. You’ll blend creative vision with technical implementation to deliver seamless, user-friendly solutions that drive measurable success. Working in a dynamic, globally diverse team, you’ll have the opportunity to lead projects, influence strategy, and build scalable design systems in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Your Impact
As a Senior Product Designer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to:
- Design user-centered solutions: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and responsive designs that balance functionality and aesthetics to enhance the user experience.
- Lead the design process: Guide projects from concept to execution, ensuring usability, accessibility, and scalability across Vendasta’s products.
- Shape and refine design systems: Maintain and expand our design systems for consistency and seamless platform experiences.
- Drive innovation and best practices: Advocate for user needs, accessibility, and cutting-edge design principles within the organization.
Iterate through user testing: Incorporate feedback and insights to continuously improve and optimize designs, aligning with business goals.
What You Bring to the Table
The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of design and technical expertise to the table, coupled with a passion for solving complex challenges:
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Design or UX Design/Engineering, with a robust portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects.
- Proficiency in front-end development, specifically HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Expertise in tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.
- Proven experience in creating and maintaining design systems.
- Exceptional collaboration skills within cross-functional teams in fast-paced settings.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to justify design decisions effectively.
- Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in SaaS or similar technology-driven environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience leveraging AI-driven technology for design enhancements.
