Do you have prior experience working in procurement? Do you enjoy managing vendor business relationships? The Lottery is hiring one (1) Senior Vendor Management Analyst to join the IT Governance team in a remote role.

About the Role

You will report to the Senior Manager, IT Governance and support us in building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with vendors through daily activities that improve process and management of suppliers and service providers. You will manage organizational standards for goals, vendor approval procedures, and metrics. you will also coordinate contract negotiations to develop mutually agreeable business terms through partnership with our product managers and vendor account representatives.

You Will:

  • Administer contracts including recommending amendments or change orders, conducts performance reviews of contract closeouts, and manages vendor business relationships.

  • Process, manages, and tracks proposals, purchase orders and invoices for all purchases and sourcing plans.

  • Keep accurate records according to state retention schedule.

  • Develop goals and operational requirements with consideration for market conditions and opportunities.

  • Support with public records request for contract documentation and conducts internal audit inquiries regarding vendor management practices.

  • Lead moderate to complex sourcing projects including identifying and coordinating sourcing project teams, conducting market analysis and applying broad industry knowledge to sourcing strategies and recommendations.

  •  Mitigate vendor risk by understanding the ramifications of outsourcing products or services and collaborate with product managers in the vendor selection process.

  • Complete several project activities including (ie. needs assessment, information gathering, partner discussions, RFP drafting, supplier research, negotiations, analysis and presentations of recommendations/results.

  • Perform analysis of spend to help develop sourcing strategies for the business.

  • Partner with stakeholders and legal team in the negotiation of contracts and agreements.

  • Identify sourcing opportunities to obtain value for the business.

  • Ensure compliance with operational requirements, internal controls and regulations.

  • Member of the Center of Excellence for maturing the strategic sourcing capabilities of the enterprise.

  • Support contract negotiation.

You Have:

Minimum Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of purchasing, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain experience including complex contract administration; OR

  • Seven (7) years of purchasing, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain experience including complex contract administration.
