About the Role:
We’re seeking a Practice Lead to drive innovation and lead a high-performing team of software engineers within our Digital Engineering team. The Practice Lead - AI is responsible for leading and driving Datacom's AI practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality AI solutions and services to our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, industry trends, and business needs. The successful candidate will lead a team of AI experts, foster innovation, and drive business growth through the strategic application of AI.

 

Role Responsibilities

The Practice Lead - AI is responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Defining and executing the AI practice strategy, aligning with Datacom's overall business objectives.
    • Identifying and prioritizing emerging AI trends and technologies.
    • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of AI techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
    • Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions.
    • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and their potential applications.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing team of AI experts.
    • Providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
    • Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Identifying and pursuing new AI opportunities with clients.
    • Consulting with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into AI solutions.
    • Leading client engagements, ensuring successful delivery of AI projects.
  • Solution Delivery:
    • Overseeing the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, from data ingestion and preparation to model training and deployment.
    • Ensuring the quality, accuracy, and scalability of AI solutions.
  • Innovation:
    • Encouraging and promoting innovation within the AI practice.
    • Exploring new AI applications and use cases.
    • Collaborating with research institutions and industry partners.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong technical background in AI, machine learning, and data science.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of client needs.
  • Experience in working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
