Job Description

Zendesk Legal is looking for an experienced Senior Equity Plan Administrator to join its growing world-class legal team to manage Zendesk’s cutting edge equity incentive plan. You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the incentive structure at a high-growth, private equity-backed company.

This role reports to the Director, Corporate and Securities, who leads governance, securities, and strategic transactions for the company. The position is remote eligible.

Responsibilities (what you get to do every day):

  • Administer equity incentive plan

  • Provide customer service to support employee inquiries on a variety of topics and issue-resolution related to equity compensation

  • Work with industry software and vendors to effectively manage our clients’ plans

  • Work with clients’ internal and external business partners, cross-functionally

  • Maintain of employee equity database

  • Provide stock plan financial reporting activities/support

  • Provide stock plan reconciliation activities/support

  • Provide participant education and training activities/support

  • Manage new plan roll outs and communications

  • Manage of project activities/support

  • Follow, enhance and/or create policies and procedures related to equity incentives

  • Assist in various other stock plan projects and initiatives as needed

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance preferred

  • Minimum 4+ years of stock administration experience with combined public company experience and service provider preferred.

  • Strong understanding of the accounting, tax and legal requirements of equity plans

  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills, superior work ethic, flexibility, ability to work independently and with discretion

  • Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $123,000.00-$185,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
