Location: Remote

Working Schedule: United States time zone
Hours of Work: 20 hours per week (Part-time) or equivalent

Job Description:

The Copywriter will be responsible for crafting persuasive, clear, and engaging copy for Shopify landing pages. This role involves writing sales-oriented content that emphasizes product value, benefits, and features to drive conversions. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with an understanding of user experience, who can produce impactful copy aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for landing pages, emphasizing product value, benefits, and features to drive conversions.
  • Integrate copy seamlessly with visuals and CTAs to create pages optimized for both aesthetics and performance.
  • Conduct regular A/B tests on landing page copy to improve conversion rates and optimize messaging for maximum impact.
  • Ensure that all copy aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
  • Monitor landing page performance using tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar, providing recommendations for copy improvements.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and creative teams to align landing page copy with overall brand and campaign strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong writing skills with experience crafting persuasive sales copy that speaks to diverse audiences and drives conversions.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices to ensure copy is optimized for search engines.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Optimizely, or similar platforms to track page performance and experiment with copy effectiveness.
  • Solid understanding of user behavior and best practices in e-commerce copywriting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in e-commerce marketing or direct response marketing.
  • Strong portfolio of copy that has demonstrated successful conversions.
  • Previous experience in fast-paced e-commerce environments or startups.
