Job description

Job Title: Junior Kubernetes Engineer

The Junior Kubernetes Engineer will manage and deploy Kubernetes environments within customer networks. The ideal candidate will have practical experience working with Kubernetes, particularly in AWS EKS and self-hosted or air-gapped configurations. While programming expertise is not mandatory, familiarity with NodeJS would be considered an advantage.

 

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters on customer networks (AWS EKS and self-hosted/air-gapped). 
  • Collaborate with customer IT teams to understand requirements and provide Kubernetes expertise.
  • Assist customers in containerizing applications using Docker.
  • Monitor cluster health and troubleshoot issues.
  • Document deployments and configurations for customers.
  • Ensure security best practices and compliance with customer policies.

 

Experience:  

  • 1-4 years of experience
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in AWS EKS and self-hosted/air-gapped environments.
  • Proficiency with Docker.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and networking.
  • Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with NodeJS is beneficial but not mandatory.
