Gateway Rehab has an outstanding opportunity for a remote Telehealth Therapist 3 who is responsible for providing substance use treatment and case management services for assigned patients.  This is a remote position, however, you must live in the US or a US territory and "licensed" in PA and Ohio. This position receives regular supervision and instruction.


Responsibilities

  • Utilizes and promotes trauma-informed treatment through the provision of evidence-based practices.
  • Participates in developing the patient’s treatment plan and outcomes in cooperation with the treatment team.
  • Provides direct therapeutic services consisting of individual, group, and/or family therapy dependent on the patient's needs.
  • Makes ongoing assessments regarding the patient’s progress in treatment and revises the treatment plan according to patient needs.
  • Completes clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Establishes and maintains contact and relationships with referral sources related to patient caseload.
  • Plans for continuing care of patient and makes appropriate referrals.
  • Monitors and completes insurance authorizations for patient caseload.
  • Provides referrals for additional care or services when required
  • Achieves and maintains expected productivity of 50% on an ongoing basis.
  • Participates in regular supervision with the manager and seeks out additional supervision as needed.
  • Adheres to all applicable provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
  • Adheres to the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS), Department of Public Welfare (DPW), and Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) regulations.
  • Completes mandatory orientation and annual training programs; completes applicable attendance documentation.
  • Provides coverage for other programs as needed.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as necessary and/or as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and other professionals.
  • Understands the nature of  addiction, including its psychological, physiological, and social aspects.
  • Ability to conduct thorough assessments to diagnose substance use disorders and/or co-occurring conditions.
  • Ability to provide individual and/or group therapy to help patients understand their addiction and develop coping strategies.
  • Skilled at analyzing complex  situations and making sound decisions regarding treatment and intervention  strategies.
  • Has the capacity to manage personal stress and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Ability to uphold strict confidentiality to protect patients’ privacy.
Requirements
  • Masters’ Degree with 5 years' experience in a clinical or behavioral health environment
  • Licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
  • 2 plus years’ experience as a Telehealth Therapist.
  • Active license in the state of PA and Ohio.
  • Experience in an outpatient setting with dual diagnosis and SUD patients.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working with health care professionals, i.e Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Techs, and Physician Assistants.

  • Pass Drug Screen
  • TB Test
  • Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
