Webmethods Architect - US Based - 100% Remote

Position Overview

As a webMethods Architect, you will be a core leader in the development and scaling of our webMethods practice. You will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated integration solutions, leveraging Software AG’s webMethods suite to connect applications, data, and business processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining best practices, driving team growth, and providing strategic guidance to our clients on their digital journey.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of webMethods integration solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Practice Development: Help grow and mature the webMethods practice, defining service offerings, best practices, and delivery methodologies.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand business requirements, provide technical leadership, and offer webMethods-based solutions that align with business goals.
• Technical Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and train junior team members in best practices, coding standards, and integration architecture.
• Technology Roadmapping: Evaluate emerging technologies, develop roadmaps for webMethods practice expansion, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet strategic objectives.
• Collaboration: Work with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to develop tailored webMethods proposals, estimates, and presentations for prospective clients.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT with at least 5+ years in webMethods integration solutions, including Integration Server, API Gateway, Broker, Universal Messaging, and Trading Networks.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with the webMethods suite, including API management, cloud integration, and hybrid solutions.
• Architecture Skills: Strong experience designing integration solutions and building microservices architectures in webMethods.
• Industry Expertise: Experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, retail, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in webMethods or similar integration technologies (preferred).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills; a collaborative and proactive approach to work.
