Job description

Strategic Sourcing Consultant (Clinical)
  • Start: 11/11/2024
  • 12 Months Contract
  • Remote Role
Wants to provide an on-site interim resource with Clinical Sourcing expertise to support the information technology sourcing and contracting areas for member.

Responsibilities include:
Manages portfolio of contracts and is responsible to ensure that agreements are renewed timely and do not expire without determination of desired result.
Prioritizes projects, lead contract negotiations and manages Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, leads negotiations, facilitates team support, documents business relationship with supplier and ensure implementation
Conducts analytics that clearly define costs, and financial implications of all sourcing and contracting activities. Captures and documents all projected savings, including heart savings and cost avoidance.
Documents savings realization dates for each contract or project.
Negotiates pricing contracts, IT, capital equipment and service contracts for assigned commodities and projects
Effectively participates in and supports various project teams and members of leadership to develop objectives and implement effective sourcing strategies and
Responsibilities require collaboration and coordination with Legal IT, various hospital departments and vendors regarding the negotiation and administration of contracts, as well as interpretation of terms and conditions and development of contract policies and processes
