Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using SAP ABAP and RAP.
• Design, develop, and customize SAP programs, reports, interfaces, and forms using ABAP programming language.
• Implement and maintain SAP RAP (Rapid Application Prototyping) solutions to address specific business needs and optimize system performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP applications, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to integrate SAP modules and ensure seamless data flow across the system.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP applications and customizations.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP programs and applications to enhance system efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to provide innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
• Document technical specifications, process flows, and system configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development and customization, with a strong understanding of SAP modules and integration.
• Expertise in SAP RAP (Rapid Application Prototyping) and its integration with SAP systems.
• Proficiency in developing and debugging SAP programs, reports, interfaces, and forms using ABAP.
• Strong understanding of SAP data structures, tables, and data modeling principles.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP applications for efficient operation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues within SAP systems.
• Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders, understand business requirements, and explain technical solutions.
• Experience in conducting system testing, debugging, and documenting technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to adapt to dynamic project requirements.
• Certifications in SAP ABAP and RAP development will be a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and independently when required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and support.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the SAP ecosystem.
