Who are we hiring?

The Freelance Production Assistant will support team digital and social content, studio production, brand partnership initiatives, and general PA assignments for Knicks, Rangers, Islanders & Devils productions.

What will you do?

  • Execute assigned projects in a manner that is appropriate and on brand for MSG Networks.
  • Work closely with department Director, Manager and Producers to determine production schedule and needs for upcoming projects. 
  • Assist Digital Producers with all aspects of their production, including shooting, editing, and delivering material.
  • Help drive key performance metrics to drive growth on social platforms and content engagement.
  • Identify social media trends and partnership opportunities related to the intersection of sports & entertainment.
  • Provide end-to-end production of social deliverables, including ideation and asset creation of short-form videos, memes, GIFs, IG stories and photography.
  • Responsible for multiple aspects of video production (shooting, sound production, editing, etc).
  • Responsible for distributing live game-related content across network and team social accounts utilizing publishing tools and native platform applications.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar to be shared and communicated with all key stakeholders.
  • Obtain strong knowledge of the Networks programming and sports teams.

 What do you need to succeed?

  • 1+ years of experience working in digital/social content, editing, production and distribution.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite & MS Office.
  • Previous experience shooting with mirrorless cameras and gimbals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while manage multiple assignments deadlines.
  • Flexible and open to the changing demands of the business.
  • Highly organized with an attention to details.

$25$28 USD
