YOUR MISSION

Glovo is looking for a world-class People Generalist to join our team in Almaty. The People department will depend on your assistance in a number of important functions such as staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development, organizing and creating effective and efficient processes, amongst many other.

Your role also includes creating and maintaining a pleasant work environment, organizing team-bonding events, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. And ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operations.

THE JOURNEY

  • Manage documentation for current and new hires: contracts, legal documentation, personal information 
  • Manage your population in scope in all People systems (Workday, Greenhouse)
  • Collect and maintain day to day information from employees: sick leaves, holidays, bank account changes, modifications of hours, salaries, etc
  • Coordinate the visa process when required
  • Be the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding People related policies, processes and procedures
  • Support People Partners in their daily operations
  • Provide the employees with relevant, engaging experiences inside and outside the office, including team building, office management and other events (Culture Day, Summer Party, etc)
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Degree in HR, Labor Law, Law, Business or similar
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, growing environment and work with all levels of management
  • Thrive in ambiguity
  • Organized, proactive, and creative
  • Customer service oriented - you love to solve complex doubts
  • Great communication skills
  • Fluent in local language and English
