Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing financial support to our accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your bookkeeping skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Process and reconcile financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and deposits
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide financial support to other departments as needed
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Bookkeeping certificate
• 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero

Certification in bookkeeping or accounting related (e.g. ACCA, AIPB)
