About the Role

As a Systems Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in managing Linux systems and supporting our client’s infrastructure team within a larger retail technology organization. Your expertise will contribute to projects involving the infrastructure of a major global entity, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

Manage and support Linux systems for infrastructure operations

Migrate existing systems to RedHat

Develop Cloud Infrastructure for onboarding applications

Troubleshoot and triage application environment defects

Contribute to the evolution of proof-of-concept architectures into production-grade systems

Participate in on-call shifts with one-week rotations

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

3+ years of relevant work experience

Proficient in Linux administration

Strong skills in Bash and Python scripting

Experience with Chef or similar configuration management tools

Knowledge of AWS and other Cloud infrastructure

Proficient with application code and its infrastructure connections

Additional helpful skills: Ansible, Splunk, Grafana, Telegraf, Pulumi, Rundeck
