Purpose of the Job – Overview
Job Title: Social Media Executive
Location: Fully Remote
Must have a 2 to 3 Hours Backup, 22 to 24” Monitor with HDMI Cable, Table, Chair and Quite place to
work.
Timings:
• Monday to Friday: 8 AM to 6 PM BST
• Saturday: 10 AM to 5 PM BST
About the Role
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to align with business goals.
- Create, curate, and manage content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others.
- Plan and oversee the social media calendar, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activities, and audience insights.
- Respond to audience interactions in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop visually engaging posts, stories, and other media.
- Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, providing reports and insights to refine strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest social media best practices, algorithms, and platform updates relevant to the IT industry.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in social media management, preferably in the IT or tech industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and engagement metrics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to create captivating content.
- Basic graphic design skills (experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
