At Lanterna, we work with IBDP & MYP schools around the world, who are suffering from teacher supply gaps. As a team of educators, we want you to come and work with us, to deliver engaging, inspiring and technically-excellent lessons to young learners around the world.
This is an incredible opportunity to broaden your horizons by working with schools from Okinawa to Oslo, London to Lisbon, in an online capacity.
As part of our commitment to you, we will run you through an in-depth technical onboarding to ensure you are prepared to bring your knowledge as an educator into a digital environment. Our most dedicated educators are also given technical tools to enhance their online learning experience.
As an online IB Substitute Teacher, you will deliver synchronous lessons to schools around the world, for anything from one week to a full school year, supporting schools ranging from those who have just started the programme, to well established schools in key markets.
This is the perfect opportunity for teachers who either do not have a full teaching roster, or those who are looking to supplement their in-school teaching in the evenings or weekends. We are also actively looking for recently retired teachers who may benefit from our in-depth knowledge as online facilitators.
Pay for this work varies depending on the school contract, but typically is £40/hr.
