Job description

This is a remote position.

A technology driven person who loves coding in PHP.

Note: This is a voluntary, unpaid role.

We've had a bespoke PHP/MySQL system developed, BBDS, that we use to manage all our volunteer registrations, Crew roles, recipient nominations & basket allocations. We've love to find someone who'd be willing to work alongside our external developers to help develop additional areas of the system.

Development can be anything from simple email notifications to developing Reports & Dashboards, either within the system or using PowerBI. We use GitHub to control all development with commits automatically pushed to a staging server for testing and then we do periodic updates to the live system.

There is also a great opportunity for many quick wins, features that we can implement within BBDS to overcome some of our more manual processes.

We host the system on an Azure server with an Azure MySQL flexible server.
