Key Responsibilities

As a variable Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the dealership's overall sales. Your primary role will be to manage day-to-day sales and financing operations, including assisting in hiring and training new sales staff, developing sales goals, and developing sales strategies. You will be expected to maintain sales records and analyze the dealership's sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the sales and financing activities of the dealership
  • Manage daily activity of sales staff using the daily work plan to ensure sales volume and productivity goals are met
  • Developing effective sales strategies to increase revenue
  • Managing and motivating the sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Maintaining sales records and analyzing sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Conducting regular inventory checks and developing inventory management strategies

Qualifications Required

  • Solid understanding of automotive sales principles, financing, and marketing strategies.
  • Able to analyze sales trends and make informed decisions based on data.
  • CDK experience is beneficial.
  • High detail orientation (inventory management, website maintenance, follow up with salespeople on used car leads, consistent follow up with service department on recon progress, etc.
