Responsibilities 
 
Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for a Sourcing Consultant to join our Procurement team. The Sourcing Consultant will engage with business stakeholders and collaborate with the business to become trusted partners. The ideal candidate will be familiar with both Purchasing and Sourcing processes, will identify savings opportunities, achieve cost savings, identify areas of process improvement, provide expert procurement strategies, and work with stakeholders from source to procure. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Execute departmental priorities and initiatives.
  • Manage purchasing processes/procedures.
  • Continuously identify purchasing process improvement opportunities, risks and implement change.
  • Facilitate and provide guidance and training to stakeholders on Procurement process and system.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross functional teams to review details on new purchase and renewal requests, including functional and security requirements, vendor, KPIs.
  • Draft and conduct effective Request for Quote/Proposal/Information.
  • Review, analyze and negotiate vendor contracts across multiple categories.
  • Establish strategic relationships with vendors to deliver cost savings opportunities across the business.
  • Perform spend analytics and reporting.
  • Contract life cycle management.
Qualifications
  • Must be available for a full-time, permanent position.
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree required. 
  • 5+ years sourcing and/or purchasing experience.
  • Prior contract management, RFx experience a must.
  • Good understanding of basic contract terms and conditions.
  • Excellent and proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management internally and externally.
  • Strong business acumen with analytical, financial and research capabilities.
  • Experience with Purchasing tool(s).
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
  • Highly capable of managing multiple projects, tasks and priorities.
  • Experience with working cross functional, complex projects from start to finish.
