We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional for the position of Business Support Executive, to join our client's debt collection team and provide essential support to the billing department.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a fully-fledged professional services firm working on specific business units in the areas of finance, corporate, tax, legal, and gaming, and is located in Naxxar.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively manage the debt collection portfolio, ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding payments. This involves proactive client outreach via email, phone, and post, utilising all available resources to achieve collection targets.
Assist the Business Support Manager in maintaining the client database and ensuring accurate and timely billing of services.
Provide comprehensive administrative support, including drafting professional correspondence and addressing client inquiries related to issued invoices.
Contribute to various departmental projects and initiatives, as required.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
Regularly monitor and report on collections and outstanding balances on a monthly basis, providing insights for continuous improvement.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Previous related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on Excel.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while maintaining a collaborative approach within a team.
Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Creative problem-solver with the ability to propose and implement effective solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving results.
EDUCATION
A minimum O-Level standard in English and Maltese.
ECDL certification is required.
WORKING TIME
Flexibility in starting time, from 07:30 till 09:30, 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break.
