Job description

This is a remote position.

Are You A Driven Strategic Thinker Ready to Manage Regional Sales?

You excel at strategic planning and have a knack for improving processes.

That's because you've put in the hours, days, and years to figure out the best sales management practices and have driven numerous commercial successes for your clients and the business.

You are ready to channel your experience and keen eye to take over the management of the entire sales process in a growing region.

Your passion lies in transforming businesses, forging new pathways, and fostering impactful customer relationships.

BASSWOOD team is working together with Phytobiotics to find their next colleague. If that's the kind of opportunity you've been looking for, then this role could be perfect for you.

Who Is Phytobiotics?

Phytobiotics is a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of high-quality feed additives and organic trace minerals, with 20 local offices and a presence in 73 countries worldwide.

There are three secrets to our success.

The first is our dedication to science & research.

Since our inception more than 20 years ago, we have been very active.

With 137 scientific contributions & more in development, we stay true to our commitment. We are not afraid to explore new approaches and test novel technologies.

We believe that progress can only be achieved through a continuous thirst for knowledge, ceaseless willingness to learn and the courage to break new ground.

The second is our focus on productivity and doing more with less.

Farmers worldwide work hard to provide us with the sustenance we need every day.

Our first and most important business goal is to help our customers' businesses become more successful and productive. It can only be achieved by listening, collaboration and continuous dialogue to understand their pain points.

Individual solutions and strong relationships have led us to the discoveries and knowledge we have today.

The third is sustainability.

We heavily invest in three sustainability pillars: ecological, economic and social.

The triple-bottom-line approach guides our business and we dedicate over 7% of sales revenue to innovative ideas. You can read more about our commitment here .

The concept of sustainability is not an empty phrase for us - it is firmly anchored in our guidelines.

Our current Area Manager is transitioning their career to prioritize family.
We're grateful for their outstanding contribution in establishing our Eastern European presence.

Now, we're on the lookout for a new team member who embodies the same exceptional qualities: self-driven, comfortable with substantial accountability, and adept at fostering strong customer relationships.

That's why we want you to join Phytobiotics as our Area Manager in Eastern Europe.

But why would you want to join us?

3 Reasons to Join Phytobiotics as an Area Manager for Eastern Europe
1. Ownership and Independence
You'll take the reins of the entire Phytobiotics animal nutrition range across Poland, the Baltics & Ukraine.

In the last 5 years, our presence in the Eastern European market under capable leadership has secured approximately 10% market share. However, we're driven to achieve more.

This opportunity is about leveraging our established groundwork, reorganising, and strategically structuring our operations for sustained success.

That's where your expertise comes in. Your drive and strategic vision will build upon our current standing, unlocking new possibilities and paving the way for greater growth and innovation.

Your role isn't just about representing Phytobiotics as a sales manager; it's about steering our strategy in Eastern Europe toward stronger impact and expansion.
We want you to take ownership of your markets and make decisions based on your knowledge.
2. Access to Resources You Need
The Eastern European region represents an opportunity for business growth, innovation and finding new applications for our products.

As the leader of the region, you initially will work individually and independently. Your in-depth understanding of modern animal production will be pivotal in reshaping and advancing our business strategy in this region.

While there will be occasional challenges, you can count on our unwavering support and constructive feedback.

Your conclusions and ideas will be backed by the resources needed to turn them into reality. We are excited by the results you can bring and the global Phytobiotics team will support you in your goals.
3. Control Your Career Path
As you structure and grow our business in the region, which could include the entirety of CEE, envision yourself at the helm of expansion, defining both our growth and the growth of your career.

Your success here won't just be about redefining and setting up the foundation for the future - it's an opportunity to evolve into a larger regional role, leading teams, and wielding significant influence.

Your journey with us isn't predefined; it's yours to shape as the region flourishes.

We've been around for more than 20 years, achieved substantial results, and future prospects are very encouraging.
If you know you'll enjoy working for a small and dynamic, yet stable company, join Phytobiotics.
