Our client is a large Accounting and Tax Advisory Company focusing on activities in the field of accountancy, agricultural services and tax advice. In addition, our client focuses on taking care of payroll administration and activities in the field of financial services as well as advice. With a staff compliment over 200 staff and a fast-growing client base this company is fast becoming one of the largest accounting firms in the Netherlands.

About the job

In this role as an accountant, you take a professional and fresh look at various compilation and consultancy assignments. Through your proactive attitude, you will build trusting relationships with your customers and know how to take them to the next level. You will lead a team of assistant accountants and you enjoy mentoring, training and sharing your experiences with them. As an accountant/relationship manager, you are the main point of contact for our clients and advise them on various financial issues. Your work will include:

1.                   Be a financial sparring partner for the client and your colleagues;

2.                   Independently managing relationships and your own customer portfolio;

3.                   Independently carrying out work for clients, such as drawing up annual accounts, filing tax returns and carrying out special (partial) assignments;

4.                   You will also enjoy working with other disciplines within our organization.

5.                   Consulting to clients on a broad range of accounting/tax/payroll/statutory matters

6.                   Acting as a trusted advisor to your clients leadership team on account matters

Requirements
