Group Sales Manager – Sanctuary Beach Resort (Remote/Hybrid)

A fantastic opportunity to join HHM - a growing company of 300 hotels & resorts - with a keen focus of developing and growing the Technology Group segment.  The Sanctuary Beach Resort, nestled on 19 acres of pristine Pacific shoreline, just completed their highly anticipated guest room transformation and property repositioning.    Come be a part of the excitement!

 

Location:

Remote/Hybrid (Must be based in the Silicon Valley area).

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Remote Group Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by actively engaging with prospective clients throughout the Silicon Valley. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with key decision-makers at leading technology companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking events. 
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at target companies, understanding their business needs and challenges. 
  • Sales Presentations and Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling online and in-person presentations to showcase the value of our products/services. 
  • Territory Management: Effectively manage your assigned territory within Silicon Valley, prioritizing accounts and maximizing sales opportunities. 
  • Travel: This role requires a combination of remote work, travel within Silicon Valley (for client meetings, presentations, and industry events), and on-site at the resort for key meetings, site inspections, and sales team collaborations. 
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system Delphi. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, eCommerce, Social Media, etc.) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Budget/Goal Achievement:  Achieve quarterly/annual production goals and hotel revenue goals as agreed upon and established in the annual budget.
  • Negotiation Skills: Use professional sales techniques to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions that satisfy customer (internal and external) requirements.
  • Value-Selling: Articulate and leverage the features and benefits of the resort to close sales opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven Track Record: 3+ years of successful experience in B2B sales, preferably within the technology sector. 
  • Silicon Valley Expertise: Strong understanding of the Silicon Valley tech landscape, including key players, trends, and challenges. 
  • Hunter Mentality: A proactive and self-driven approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. 
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and present effectively. 
  • Remote Work Savvy: Experience working remotely and managing your time effectively. 
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software, video conferencing tools, and other relevant technologies.
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous sales experience: Luxury or lifestyle hotel or resort experience preferred.

 

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching stooping kneeling, or crouching.
  • Moderate travel between remote/home location and resort’s locations required.
