Job description

The Job

As a Stock Allocator you will work to ensure the optimum stock is allocated to various business Points of Sale. Organized and a good communicator, the Stock Allocator is an essential part of the Fanwear operation.

Your Mission

  • Work with Merchandise Planning/Stock Allocation team to analyze sales data and estimate demand to determine the appropriate levels of inventory to be held at each location.

  • Allocating inventory to different channels/per Point of Sale based on sales data, expected demand, and inventory levels.

  • Monitoring inventory levels and making proposals for action as needed to ensure that stock is available to meet customer demand, flagging under or overperformance to Merchandise Planning/Stock Allocation team for further actions (e.g. rebuy/discount).

  • The stock allocator should have good analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaborate with other departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis tools and experience working with inventory management systems is highly desirable.

  • Maintain a regular communication with the operations team to gather feedback on product performance and inventory needs.

  • Address any issues or concerns related to inventory allocation.

  • Build skills on SAP allocation topics.

Your Talent

  • You are preferably pursuing one of the following programs: International business/Economics/Marketing;

  • HBO level studies or higher, preferably 2nd year or higher;

  • Minimum of 4 months, 4 days a week;

  • Graduation internship in consultation (50% internship, 50% school);

  • You have an affinity for motorsport/football;

  • Excel skills are beneficial;

  • You are analytically driven, organized and can manage multiple tasks;

  • You are operationally minded and a team player who fosters collaboration;

  • You are result oriented and proactive.

This internship is based in the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
