Consultant, Manager, Healthcare Program Initiatives
Summary
Our client, a start-up utilizing healthy food as medicine approach, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Manager, Healthcare Program Initiatives. This position will report to the Vice President of Healthcare Programming within the operations department. This individual will be responsible for implementing and expanding community supports programming services. This includes day-to-day operations of the newly and established programs. This position requires the ability to both lead and professionally develop a team.
Duties / Expectations of Role
· Serve as a vital point of contact for individuals, providing support and guidance to promote their engagement and utilization of the Community Services.
· Coordinate resource allocation, oversee record-keeping, and ensure compliance with program directives, regulations, and guidelines.
· Evaluate program effectiveness, implement improvements, and modify operations as necessary to meet program directives and client needs.
· Develop, coordinate, and participate in collaborative activities, programs, and projects to maximize resources and client responsiveness.
· Provide supervision for all Community Health Workers, identify training needs, and ensure staff development programs address those needs.
· Develop and manage systems to maximize program effectiveness, acting as a resource for staff and clients.
· Collaborate with local agencies and organizations to achieve program goals and objectives within agreed-upon time frames and regulations.
· Develop and manage an Outreach Plan, including scheduling and team coordination.
· Travel for events, meetings, training, and conferences as required.
Mandatory Requirements
· Bilingual with Spanish/English
· 3-5 years of Project/Program Management experience
· 4 Years of recent supervisory experience managing a team of 7+ people
· Experience writing and creating process from scratch preferably in a start-up or non-profit experience.
· Microsoft Office Suite experience required
· Flexible with occasional work after hours and weekends
Nice to Have
· Experience with Medicaid and/or Managed Care programs
· Experience managing a remote team
· Knowledge of medical insurance billing systems and data analysis

· Up to 6-month contract to potential perm

· Full-time (40 hours/week)
· 20% Travel to Central and South California
