Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services Company, is seeking an experienced Acquisition Support with a Secret Clearance to support KTS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. This position is remote.

Position Overview:

The Analyst will Perform requirements analysis and integration support tasks. This position requires active engagement with the requirement owners throughout the program and provide support in the areas of classification, workforce development, employee relations, labor relations, and information systems.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate actions across the PMO and JWCC support staff.
  • Provide support in organizational and strategic planning for a wide variety of technical and functional environments.
  • Provide support in configuration management, strategic planning, knowledge management, business analysis and technical analysis.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the mission’s vision and help communicate goals throughout the program.
  • Draft correspondence to support the Government Leadership for review/approval
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle issues expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion often with deadline pressure.
  • Manage correspondence processes for the Government Leadership (e.g., formal letters, memoranda, read-ahead briefing/meeting packages, activity reports, and senior leadership reports); and track deliverables to ensure timeliness and professionalism.
  • Assist the Government leadership in coordinating tasks and information across the discrete workstreams to ensure each workstream remains informed and aligned to the overall strategic vision and schedule.
  • Coordinate joint efforts with other groups and offices and maintain accountability of all assigned tasks.
  • Provide data analysis expertise in support of business priorities and objectives.
  • Perform technical writing/editing, editorial consultation, proofreading, or overall documentation review for various documents, including acquisition, other program document, and user support documents.
  • Ensure documents are prepared in the appropriate format and are free from grammatical errors.
  • Create and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering diagrams, systems operations documents, testing and evaluation (T&E) plans and reports, and user operations guides.
  • Organize and write supporting content for enterprise cloud computing acquisition and use.
  • Assist the Government in planning and overseeing cloud efforts on a large scale.
  • Assist other team members in other specialties as needed to accomplish the overall mission.
  • Knowledge of DoD Systems Acquisition, large scale cloud implementations, and IT Systems Engineering will be very beneficial, though a fast learner can be fully successful. The successful candidate will help guide a large cloud effort from requirement development for cloud computing acquisition.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 5+ years related experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience as acquisition analyst/project analyst/coordinator for an OSD level organization. At a minimum the candidate is required to proses the qualities and skills commensurate with said experiences.
  • Ability to uphold a strict level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Maintain professional conduct and behaviors with the government and coworkers.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage.
  • Assist requirement owners with refining, assessing, documenting, and maintaining requirements in preparation for review board meetings to convey key program objectives, their relative contributions to the mission, and estimated costs.
  • Gather and develop requirements for assigned projects based on stakeholder input.
  • Refine and decompose requirements to a degree specified by the Government.
  • Prioritize, de-conflict, and validate requirements with stakeholders.
  • Assist government leads with conducting annual capability gap and requirements validation/re-validation assessments in response to emerging threats, changing external guidance, and realignment of mission priorities.
  • Analyze potential impact on existing DISA infrastructure, services, systems, projects, and processes.
  • Analyze potential strategic linkages to DISA and DoD CIO strategic plans and other federal mandates.
  • Analyze potential solutions selected by the Government and assess the ability of each solution to meet the validated requirements.
  • Develop executive-level Business Case Analysis Briefings for assigned projects.
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
  • Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills – including the ability to develop solutions in new and creative ways.
  • Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion.
  • Strong ability to brief senior executives with little notice and with confidence.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen, hold a current DoD Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
