Our Client is now seeking a mature and experienced candidate for the role of CEO, ideally a seasoned professional, who brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for social impact to their mission-driven organization. As the leader of the executive team, you will steer the company’s strategic vision, oversee operations, and drive innovative growth strategies that balance profitability with meaningful social impact. Job Overview:

The successful candidate would be an accomplished and mission-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) ready to lead a growing social enterprise into its next phase of impact and innovation. The founder and current CEO is transitioning to a strategic advisory role, creating an opportunity for an experienced leader who shares the organisation's commitment to social impact to take the helm.

The ideal candidate is a visionary with a background in multinational corporations (MNCs), ready to leverage his/ her expertise and achievements to drive sustainable growth and expand the organisation's mission of empowering marginalized communities. In this unique role, the motivation extends beyond financial reward; the candidate must demonstrate sound leadership skills and is passionate about creating meaningful social change and sustainable, innovative business practices


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Vision
  • Lead the organization in setting and executing a visionary growth strategy that aligns with our social mission, expanding our business while staying true to our core values.
  • Work closely with the founder and board to shape and refine the company’s strategic direction, exploring new opportunities for innovation and impact.
  • Champion our Triple Bottom Line approach—Profit, People, and Planet—and ensure its principles are deeply integrated into all aspects of the organization.

2. Business Growth & Innovation
  • Drive the expansion of our business initiatives through innovative, mission-aligned approaches that enhance profitability while advancing our social objectives.
  • Identify and cultivate new revenue streams, partnerships, and market opportunities, with a focus on sustainable scalability.
  • Inspire and empower the team to bring creative ideas and strategies to life, transforming challenges into opportunities for impact and growth.

3. Operational & Financial Oversight
  • Oversee all operational and financial functions, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and financial health across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to streamline processes, optimize resources, and drive operational efficiencies within a fully remote, cloud-based environment.
  • Provide financial stewardship that balances profitability with our mission to support marginalized communities, prioritizing long-term sustainability.

4. People & Culture Development
  • Foster a culture that is mission-driven, inclusive, and innovative, empowering employees to excel in their roles while connecting to our social purpose.
  • Lead by example, nurturing a workplace that values diversity, equity, and the unique strengths each team member brings.
  • Mentor and develop the leadership team, instilling a sense of shared mission and a commitment to continuous learning and collaboration.

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Mission Advocacy
  • Serve as the face of the organization to stakeholders, clients, and partners, advocating for our mission and expanding awareness of our impact.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential donors, investors, and community leaders, to enhance our visibility and support.
  • Collaborate with external partners, government agencies, and other social enterprises to drive initiatives that align with our goals and expand our social footprint


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Proven track record as a CEO or in senior executive roles, ideally with experience in multinational corporations (MNCs).
  • Demonstrated success in leading mission-driven organizations or initiatives, with a commitment to creating social impact through sustainable business practices.
  • Strong background in business strategy, operational management, and financial oversight, particularly in a small-to-medium-sized business or social enterprise context.
  • Experience in remote work environments and leveraging technology to drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and unite teams around a shared mission
