Job Description

As ServiceNow continues its unprecedented growth, the company seeks an experienced sales operations professional with sound go-to-market acumen to be the strategic business partner to the Group Vice President of EMEA North and their cross functional teams.

The Director of Business Operations, North is responsible for the overall planning, efficiency and effectiveness of the North sales organisation and champions close working relationships with key stakeholders to help ensure the organisation is successful.

What you get to do in this role:

  • This leader will partner with the GVP of EMEA North and their management team to drive strategy and business results
  • Following guidance received from EMEA drives all facets of the multi year planning process including assessment of the specific market opportunity, sales resource allocation, territory and quota assignment, and appropriate alignment between the different functions within the area
  • Execute the Global Operating Cadence to drive a rhythm of the business rigour leveraging analysis of trends and performance that resulting in predictability, accountability, accuracy and improved decision making
  • Identify and deploy sales plays to stimulate demand with key customers and partners
  • Enable the salesforce to adopt winning behaviours by reinforcing training and access to sales content and assets
  • Work collaboratively to deploy technology and automate key processes to increase the amount of time that sellers spend with customers and partners.
  • Participate in cross functional initiatives to transform and streamline processes to drive improved sales productivity and velocity

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 10+ years relevant work experience; prior experience in operational roles, including project management; demonstrated track record delivering business and organizational outcomes
  • Executive presence, strong verbal and written communication
  • Superb leadership and influencing skills; ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Ability to motivate others, drive collaboration, teaming & resolve conflict between diverse stakeholder groups
  • Passion for and demonstrated success understanding and fulfilling internal or external customer needs; problem-solver, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Sharp business judgment, ability to see "big picture" and to prioritize
  • Ability to manage change and ambiguity with an action-orientation/drive – must thrive in a dynamic global environment
  • High energy, strong work ethic, disciplined execution skills, willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results
  • Proficient with CRM management and other relevant sales automation and reporting tools
