Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled Travel Reservation Agent to join our team and assist clients in making travel arrangements. The ideal candidate should be proficient in GDS systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, and Travelport and have experience handling reservations for flights, hotels, and other travel services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Reservations and Bookings: Utilize Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, and Travelport to make and modify travel reservations for flights, hotels, car rentals, and more.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Address client inquiries and special requests while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Stay Informed on Travel Policies: Keep up-to-date with airline policies, ticketing rules, and industry regulations to provide accurate guidance.
  • Upsell and Cross-Sell Travel Services: Identify opportunities to offer additional services that enhance the client's travel experience.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Manage booking modifications, cancellations, and rebookings while maintaining accurate records in the system.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Travel Reservation Agent with proficiency in using Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, and Travelport.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing client needs.
  • Knowledge of travel regulations, ticketing rules, and fare structures.
