Job Description

The Director, Operations Finance, Bath is a key leadership position, ultimately responsible for all aspects of financial management for Bath Products encompassing 6 manufacturing or distribution facilities in Northern Mexico and Southern Texas. This  role provides direct support to senior management in Operations, Product Management, Commercial Channels as well as corporate accounting, tax and treasury functions.  

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review of periodic financial reports including Bath P&L’s and performance metrics

  • Own Bath product financial forecasts and budget

  • Define and monitor controls in a manufacturing environment

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the financial team (cost accountants, and operations finance analysts)

  • Coordinate the Bath Sales, Operations, Inventory, & Planning process (SIOP)

  • Monitors statutory compliance with respect to tax, trade and cash management In alignment with corporate accounting

  • Lead the Finance support for Product including New Product Introduction, portfolio review, and SKU rationalization

  • Coordinate with the Commercial leaders on pricing and product margin reviews

  • Partner with the Operations leader, the plant & distribution center leadership teams, and supply chain develop strategic plans and define future state alternatives

  • Control manufacturing costs within budget

  • Owner of the Bath product standard cost process (all locations)

  • Oversight of intercompany transactions related to Bath facilities and financial statements

  • Coordinate capital expenditure and capacity planning for the facilities

  • Prepare and execute strategies that optimize working capital

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required

  • MBA and/or Accounting Masters degree preferred

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

  • Minimum of 8 years overall financial experience within a manufacturing environment, with significant exposure to Operations and/or Supply Chain Management and demonstrated history of increasing responsibility including supervision in a manufacturing environment

  • Interntational manufacturing experience

  • Past experience as a Plant Controller preferred

  • CPA (or Chartered Accountant equivalent) and/or CMA preferred

  • Experience in a multi-division company environment and in a public company setting a plus

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

  • Understanding of and experience with the interpretation and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the Sarbanes Oxley Act
