Key Responsibilities - Summary

We are seeking for an experienced Online Travel Agency (OTA) Pricing Specialist to oversee operations at our various clients’ residential & commercial properties. In this position, you will work with remote teams (customer success & multiple account managers) to create and configure property pricing, listings, customized reports, and profiles usually pushed through our PMS (Guesty) or Channel Manager (Rentals United), as well as to ensure units are ready for reservations, fulfill repair requests efficiently, track and ensure information parity and contribute to optimal distribution & boosting strategies through Expedia, Vrbo, Booking and Airbnb (among other OTAs). Our ideal candidate has at least two years of property pricing and OTA management experience.

Functions and Responsibilities

 

  • Dynamic Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies tailored to our unique portfolio of properties. Leverage market data and demand trends to adjust rates, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue generation.
  • Channel Optimization: Manage and optimize our presence across Airbnb and VRBO, as well as other major and minor OTAs. Ensure accurate rate setups and maintain high visibility, continuously reviewing performance to identify opportunities for growth and increased market share. Manages Booking, Expedia, as well as Rentals United (and all associated channels/connections)
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) and Average Daily Rate (ADR). Generate detailed reports that provide actionable insights for informed decision-making and revenue enhancement.
  • System Oversight and Configuration: Oversee the configuration of all pricing settings within the PMS, including automated payment processes, cancellation policies, and other rate-related parameters. Ensure that all pricing structures align with our overall revenue strategies while enhancing the guest experience.
  • Collaborative Revenue Strategies: Work closely with commercial, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue initiatives and support promotional campaigns. Foster collaboration to strengthen our market positioning and guest satisfaction.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough research on competitors and industry trends to inform our pricing strategies. Stay updated on market developments to identify new revenue opportunities, enhance our competitive edge and ensures data compliance
  • End-to-end OTAs commercial strategies:
    • Pricing
    • Boosting
    • Special Offers
    • Premium partnerships
    • Special programs (Genius, Superhost, Preferred Partner, Premier Host, etc.)
  • Overviews taxes and regulations updates and notifies to related stakeholders.

Maintain an excellent and positive relationship with renters and guests

Qualifications
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant property/short-term rental pricing experience required.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant OTAs management experience required.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant property / VR management experience desired.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis tools and Excel for interpreting trends and making data-driven pricing decisions.
  • Knowledge of OTAs: Strong understanding of major platforms, particularly Airbnb and VRBO, with additional experience on Booking.com and Expedia preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with a PMS and revenue management software for pricing strategy and distribution management.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Commitment to enhancing guest satisfaction through strategic pricing and positioning.
  • Own Personal Computer and/or Laptop.
  • Good Internet Infrastructure and Connectivity.
  • Smartphone.
  • Strong PC literacy with solid skills in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Web Browsers, as well as communication tools such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Skype, Zoom, and Google Meet.
  • Ability to find solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, referring to a group of companies’ policies and practices for guidance.
  • Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules.
  • Will be responsible for managing all functions that support the effective running of a fast-paced business. The position is key to the success and smooth operations of the organization.
  • Exhibits pride in work, personal maturity, and good judgment and enjoys delivering value in a rapidly changing and often demanding work environment where teamwork and a partnership spirit are required and where a premium is placed on both creativity and flawless execution.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Spanish and English, both written and spoken. (at least a B2 to C1 level in English; Native/Fluent Spanish)
