Job Title: Automation Test Engineer
Location: Bangalore

Experience range: 7+ years 

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of proven experience in automation testing across multiple projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision and has exposure to investment-based software testing. This role requires expertise in modern testing tools and technologies, particularly within the Atlassian suite, and a strong command of Javascript, Cypress, and Postman.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using modern tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement automation testing strategies.
• Maintain and enhance test frameworks, ensuring robust test coverage across various projects.
• Report and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Proficient in Javascript, Cypress, Postman, and Github.
• Hands-on experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and Test Management tools (e.g., qTest, Zephyr, X-Ray).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Typescript.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like jMeter.
• Exposure to investment-based software testing.
