Job description

We are looking to hire for one of our ecosystem projects. Our client, a leading digital assets ecosystem globally, is in search of an experienced Director of Backend Engineering.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the CTO to develop and execute the technical strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and long-term vision.
  • Oversee the technology team, including recruitment, training, and performance management, to inspire high levels of productivity.
  • Guide the product development process, ensuring innovation, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain the stability, security, and scalability of the technology infrastructure while managing associated risks.
  • Work closely with product management, sales, and customer support to ensure technology meets business requirements.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in technical management, including overseeing multiple teams, with over 3 years in trading system projects.
  • A global perspective and strong cross-cultural communication skills, capable of managing teams across various locations, with proficiency in English.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking, adept at formulating long-term strategies in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate team members toward shared goals.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in architectural design and problem resolution, able to assist the team with specific challenges as needed.
