What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for technology and automation initiatives associated with the stand-up of five (5) new distribution centers aligned with McKesson MMS’s Accelerated Supply Chain Excellence (ASCE) initiative.
  • Project Leadership & Execution: Lead and manage large-scale operations technology and automation programs from inception through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.  Lead and mentor a team of project managers to drive assigned initiatives, ensuring successful transition. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of technology solutions.  Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management and executive leadership.  Effectively communication organizational strategies and translate them into actional functional strategies.  Ensure alignment across all functional areas to meet project objectives.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Tackle complex challenges that require a deep understanding of the business environment and distribution operations. Provide strategic insights and solutions that address operational, technical, and logistical issues.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery and business readiness.
  • Status & Performance Metrics: Ensure the right metrics to monitor program status, risks, and readiness are developed, made visual, and updated.
  • Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with a focus on operations technology and automation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of operations technology, automation tools, and software platforms.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex programs and projects.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.  Minimum 3-5 years of people leadership experience
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions.
  • Certifications: PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Office and Distribution Centers
  • Travel Required: 50-70%

$100,100 - $166,900
