The Tiger Analytics team is looking for a BI Technical Product Owner to deliver innovation and tools to global business teams. This is a cross functional role that requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaison with technical teams and interact with internal clients.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and manage LookML models, dashboards, and visualizations in Looker to deliver insightful analytics to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for reporting and data solutions.
  • Enhance existing reports and dashboards, focusing on performance optimization and user experience improvements.
  • Perform data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that can drive business improvements.
  • Work closely with data engineers to ensure data integrity and availability for reporting purposes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Looker dashboards and data sources as they arise.
  • Create documentation for reports, dashboards, and best practices to guide end-users in using Looker efficiently.
  • Stay current on Looker updates and related technologies, leveraging new features to enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a Looker studio or related role delivering BI/Reporting projects in an enterprise or consulting role
  • Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights.
  • Expertise in Looker development, including LookML and dashboard creation.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure.
  • Experience with data modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of additional BI tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting data-related issues.
  • Excellent communication skills
