Job Description

We’re seeking a seasoned Controller to take charge of financial operations for our diverse portfolio of hospitality clients. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on financial management and high-level strategic planning. You’ll oversee all aspects of financial operations, develop strategies, and drive growth for our clients. As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on both our firm and our clients’ businesses. Responsibilities
  • Lead all financial operations for a portfolio of up to 50 hospitality clients
  • Develop and implement robust financial strategies and controls
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses for stakeholders
  • Manage client relationships, effectively communicating complex financial concepts
  • Spearhead financial planning and forecasting initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations specific to the hospitality industry
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 5-7 accounting professionals
  • Collaborate with company executives and interface with client leadership
Requirements
  • CPA certification
  • Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role
  • Extensive knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations in the hospitality industry
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial modeling
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in US time zones
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
  • Strong client management skills and ability to build lasting relationships
  • Adaptability to manage a diverse portfolio of up to 50 hospitality clients
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet client demands
