Job Description
  1. Work as a single point of contact for the assigned project from concept stages through production and project closure.
  2. Responsible for achieving project goals (Time, Cost, Budget & Quality)
  3. Manage cross-functional core team comprising of Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Technical Functions, Product Management, Purchasing and Logistics.
  4. Work very closely with IPN and international teams.
  5. Develop achievable project plans/timelines in accordance with the PS process and Product Roadmap.
  6. Responsible for the project infrastructure, MAE & SOP
  7. Identify and assess risks, create plans for risk mitigation as they pertain to cost, quality and schedule.
  8. Able to function independently on a variety of problems of moderate scope. Exercises judgment within established procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  9. Communications - Develop and manage projects status, project reviews and other communication tools as needed. Organize timely review meetings at all levels and manage escalations where necessary.
  10. Leadership – motivate, set achievable objectives, maintain a positive outlook, take responsibility, make decisions, and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  11. Plan necessary budget for the project, get necessary approvals and steer the new business area.

Qualifications

BE (Mech./ Industrial & Production / Automobile)

5 +years of experience in Project Planning & Execution of New / Relocation Projects

3 +years of experience in Process planning and managing the operations

Additional Information

Certified Project Manager (RK-PMQ) preferred. Exposure to Project management methods and tools essential. Should have handled Transfer projects / Greenfield projects

Basic knowledge on BPS is essential

Understanding of PEP/PNPI Flow, relocation project procedures & guidelines (CD06202)

Experience in handling / leading Relocation projects

Basic knowledge on SAP, Process planning (Assembly processes), Engineering Change Management

Experience in moderation and knowledge on creativity techniques. Must have good communication skills

Good team competencies, Good persuasion and conflict solving competencies
