Job Description

The core role is to manage and develop the Sales of La-Z-Boy furniture across Victoria and key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Managing and developing business with current customers (independent retailers)
  • Planning and executing a regular customer call plan across Victoria
  • Building and leveraging great trade relationships
  • Driving excellent execution of Sales & Marketing strategies and promotional plans
  • Achieving key targets of Sales, Distribution and Customer Coverage
  • Identifying opportunities for growth including opening additional retail stores
  • The role doesn’t have any direct people management responsibilities but includes lots of indirect management of customers and retail staff, including product & sales training
  • Potential for management of customer groups

Qualifications

We are on the lookout for someone who has get up and go, is highly motivated, results driven and who wants to make their mark and grow as the company grows. It’s important to us that we do business the right way and have fun doing it, so we are looking for someone who shares those values. You will need to be willing to travel extensively around Victoria and spend time away from home.
