Job Description

As a Financial Analyst, you will work in the Large Accounts Finance Group. In this position, your primary responsibilities will be managing premium receivables, supporting the balance sheet close process, and assisting with special projects.

  • Manage the premium receivable process for the Construction, National Accounts and Retail Energy units. This includes collecting outstanding balances due Arch and issuing returns due the insured.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly premium and balance sheet close processes.
  • Participate in data system conversion projects.
  • Cross trained in booking premium for the Construction, National Accounts and Retail Energy units.
  • Cross trained in preparing daily bank reconciliations.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 5 years or more of collections and general ledger experience.
  • Prior work in the P&C insurance industry is welcomed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.

Additional Information
  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Accounting or Finance
