Job Description

The role is responsible for facilitating the review of AECOM’s Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) Department and the prequalification of its Third Parties.  This role will work with the dynamic team of SH&E Directors, Managers, and Specialists as well as other members of the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) team in our Manila Service Center in supporting AECOM’s Design and consulting Services operations throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

  • Conduct thorough prequalification assessments of potential Third Parties to certify/assess compliance with AECOM policies and protocols as well as State and Federal regulatory SH&E standards.
  • Collaborate with the SH&E department to update and maintain prequalification criteria and evaluation processes.
  • Review Third Parties' SH&E policies, procedures, certifications, and records to ensure that they meet AECOM’s stringent requirements.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams as necessary to ensure all SH&E-related matters are addressed
  • Liaise with external Third Parties to ensure any additional information required to meet AECOM’s standards are made available for validation
  • Maintain records in Coupa of prequalified Third Parties and their compliance statuses.
  • Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
  • Provide training and support to Third Parties to help them meet required SH&E standards.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for third-party prequalification processes.
  • Prepare reports and present findings on third-party SH&E compliance to management.
  • Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to facilitate understanding and implementation of SH&E requirements in subcontracting practices.
  • Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to the Team Lead for timely support; propose alternatives to identified issues and assist in investigating and in resolving common and unusual issues.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be open for the NIGHT SHIFT schedule (9pm to 6am MNL Time).
  • Candidates must be open for hybrid setup (AECOM's Freedom to Grow initiative).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, Procurement, Logistics, or other related field, or an equivalent relevant experience.
  • 4-5 years of experience in Third Party management or similar field
  • Experience supporting geographically diverse organizations
  • Highly communicative and organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to SH&E
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess compliance risks effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office and database management
  • Experience with data management and/or analytics platforms such as Microsoft PowerBI.
