Automobile Market Specialist (f/m/x)

We are looking for an Automotive Project Manager to join our Group Inventory Management Team, that is responsible for the steering of a variety of projects, managing processes and supporting with insightful analysis on the inventory for all European markets in our AUTO1 Group Operations Department. In this Department we ensure smooth processes by combining operational thinking with strategic skill.

• Take over the independent research of relevant information of auto types to ensure a correct market comparison

• Monitor the documentation of the market positioning of our vehicles based on their characteristic and pricing

• Leverage our data to develop strategies to perform market price reality checks for the vehicle price advertisement

• Conduct critical reviews of existing processes, strategies, and outcomes to identify profitability drivers and implement strategies to enhance car inventory turnover

• Develop systems to identify and mitigate car inventory risks effectively

• Coordinate the implementation of new tools, reports, or workflows, and oversee activities related to retail inventory strategy

• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to design, establish, and monitor new processes and strategies

• Support the growth of new projects and processes by performing day-to-day analytical and project oriented tasks

• Extensive technical and/or commercial knowledge in the automotive sector is a must

• Previous experience in evaluating, buying/selling, or trade-in cars is a plus

•  Strong passion for cars and a keen interest in e-commerce

• Ability to manage priorities, stakeholders and meet time-sensitive deadlines

• Very good knowledge of common Office applications (specifically Excel) and Google Sheets are mandatory, SQL skills would be strong plus

• Excellent English language skills, any other European language skills are welcome

• Master's degree and first practical work experience in consulting, business development, business analytics, project management, finance or e-commerce

• Working from home within Germany: you can work from home up to 5 days a week
