You Are

UST is searching for a Scrum Master who will partner with up to two business and technology teams to plan and execute tactical and strategic efforts; delivering the business vision.

The Opportunity

  • Manage multiple SCRUM teams and manage all SCRUM ceremonies such as Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, Sprint Review meetings.
  • Helping team focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done
  • Helping remove impediments to team’s progress.
  • Working with Scrum team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
  • Maintain project timeframe, estimates and status reports.
  • Develops, maintains and manages detailed project plans, action item registers and major milestone timelines for all assigned projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments for the projects.
  • Collaborate in preparing for the PI Planning
  • Assist Product Owner and team in backlog refinement.
  • Facilitate Scrum of Scrum meetings with other Scrum teams
  • Coordinate the project release and deployments.
  • Monitor project deliverables.
  • Prepare status reports, presentations and present to stakeholders.

What You Need

  • Minimum of at least 2-4 years of experience in a project management capacity in Project Manager & Scrum Master roles in software development projects
  • Experience managing system implementation and integration projects
  • Strong conceptual, analytic and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be a team player and be able to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with technical teams and business stakeholders alike
  • Proficiency in creating engaging PowerPoint presentations.
  • Previous experience in the fintech or payment industry.
  • Scrum Master certification and/or PMP certification is preferred

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $88,000-$132,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
