What will I be doing?

• Be part of the technical team that owns all of Multiplier's websites, work on end-to-end web development, and implement extensible enhancements across our static site platform.
• Act as a subject matter expert for all work that goes into our websites by staying updated with current tech trends, incorporating new tools, and recommending best practices within the team.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and tech teams to create high-quality web pages that surpass performance metrics and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Provide valuable insight and execution strategies for website optimization, ensuring that all code and assets are tested for maximum speed and scalability across diverse devices and browsers.
• Take charge of multiple web development projects. Ensure alignment with stakeholder requirements and drive on-time project delivery while maintaining stringent quality benchmarks.

What do I need?

• 5+ years of professional experience in modern web development, with at least 2 years of experience working in a product company.
• High ownership of the development and maintenance of static sites, delivering high-quality pages for scale-up SaaS products.
• Expertise in maintaining websites using WordPress, including experience in using plugins to streamline development and optimise page performance. In-depth knowledge of WordPress under the hood and preferably some familiarity with other modern CMS platforms.
• Deep and fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript and their interactions with modern browsers. Preferably some experience in popular client-side frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue and static site generators like Gatsby and Next.js.
• Strong grasp of SEO best practices and the ability to collaborate with the performance marketing team to drive traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Well-acquainted with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and other web analytics optimisation and monitoring tools.
• Deep knowledge of responsive and accessible UI design standards, UX methodologies, and production-ready web design techniques for a world-class website.
• Excellent communication skills to ensure that all web development projects are delivered in a clear and transparent manner to stakeholders.
