Remote AP Psychology Teacher

We are a dynamic international education firm dedicated to supporting students from over 30 countries as they transition to U.S. schools. We are seeking a part-time AP Psychology Teacher to join our team.

We are looking for experienced educators who are passionate about guiding high school students in understanding psychological concepts and exploring real-world issues. Our teachers may be asked to facilitate both private and group classes.

This is a part-time, hourly role, fully remote, with no travel required. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with certifications and experience.

About the Course:

AP Psychology provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the study of psychology. Students will explore key concepts, theories, and research methods, learning to analyze and interpret psychological phenomena while developing their own perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect psychological concepts and theories to real-life scenarios, helping students see the relevance of psychology in their everyday lives.
• Facilitate understanding and interpretation of data, enabling students to draw conclusions and make informed decisions based on psychological research.
• Analyze research studies in psychology with students, fostering critical thinking and discussion about methodologies, findings, and their implications.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• AP certification or equivalent experience in teaching AP courses.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in a similar role, preferably in an international or virtual school setting.
• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
