What’s the role?
Etsy is looking for an iOS Engineer II to join the Decide Team at Reverb, the largest online marketplace dedicated to buying and selling musical instruments and a brand of Etsy, Inc. Since launching in 2013, Reverb has grown into a vibrant community of buyers and sellers all over the world. By focusing on inspiring content, price transparency, musician-focused eCommerce tools, a music-savvy customer service team, and more, Reverb has created an online destination where the global music community can connect over the perfect piece of music gear.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Engineering Director. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy. While this role will initially support Reverb, this role may support Etsy.com in the future.
What’s this team like at Reverb?
The Decide Team builds the experiences that give Reverb’s users the knowledge and confidence that an instrument is right for them, their sound, and their budget. We are a collaborative, inclusive team of designers, backend, frontend, and native mobile engineers with all the skills necessary to build & ship.
What does the day-to-day look like?
As an iOS engineer, you will be responsible for pushing our codebase forward, shipping quickly and safely, and helping us on our most impactful projects.
You’ll be working on both building great features for our users and the underlying platform.
Our app is 90% Swift and we are investing heavily in SwiftUI. We ship weekly and invest in testing & automation to enable that. To build with confidence, we extensively use remote configuration, feature flags, and declarative, server-driven APIs.

At Reverb, you'll be more than an engineer; you'll be a product owner who works with partners to identify the right tradeoffs and build what our user’s need.
We ask that candidates express interest in Reverb's mission, prepare to work on a collaborative team, and adopt a growth mentality. We also ask that you have at least 1 to 2 years of iOS experience, outside of learning environments, working on backend-dependent apps.
