Role description:
This is a dynamic moment to join the new Growth, Digital Intelligence, and Advisory (GDIA) team, as we bring together the transformational world of Digital Products and Advisory services to meet the ever-changing and growing market needs. The Commercial Pricing Director role is designed to bring the best in class to the market by setting new and innovative pricing strategies to meet the ever-growing and changing market demand for software. Working across the business the role will set and drive the strategic pricing direction for Arcadis Digital products, supporting high growth in both customer adoption and revenue generation. The role will work alongside Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing, supporting the full product journey to success. This role will be based in the UK/Canada.
Reports to Global GBA Pursuit Director
Role accountabilities:
- Accountable for setting the dynamic and transformation strategic direction of product pricing – including setting pricing and discount structures across the product portfolio
- Accountable for setting and managing pricing governance across the product portfolio, with a common set of guiding principles and controls in place for growth and predictability
- Responsible for driving pricing education/positioning across other areas of Arcadis, outside of the Deliver, Intelligence & Advisory space, to support product adoption in pursuit of activity
- Responsible for bringing together, Sales, Product, Finance, and Marketing areas to drive cross-business collaboration
- Responsible for Market analysis of competitor behavior and pricing to inform and drive strategic pricing
- Accountable for the creation and maintenance of Sales facing commercial models to support opportunity pricing, supported by shared service centers
- Responsible for analysis of past pricing decisions and impact on future pricing decisions
Key Shared Accountabilities:
- Scalability and business continuity of commercial models to ensure business readiness to offer our products to the market
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate significant experience in setting strategic and tactical pricing to drive performance in technology & product-intensive industries. You will need to show experience working with 3rd party vendors, to formulate combined pricing packages, covering software implementation, integrations, licensing, and support. You must be able to demonstrate being data-driven, with excellent analytical and numerical skills, and be able to distill complexity via a methodical and structured approach, whilst breaking down complex pricing structures and bringing new ways of thinking to drive business and growth in the traditional services world, moving towards a joint services and product world.

The salary range for this position is CAD 109,000 to 144,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
