App Communications Specialist - REMOTE

Amazing opportunity for an experienced App Communication Specialist to drive customer engagement through push notifications and in-app messaging! If you have 3+ years in mobile app marketing, expertise in CRM tools, and a passion for creating seamless customer experiences, this role is perfect for you!

This is a 3-month contract.

A Vancouver based retail organization with worldwide operations and an outstanding reputation.


What- The Role:

As the App Communication Specialist, you will manage the production and deployment of app communications, specifically focusing on push notifications and inbox messages. You will drive weekly communications aimed at promoting product discovery, sale periods, and new store openings, enhancing customer engagement and supporting ecommerce growth. Collaborating closely with the Lifecycle Strategy Manager and CRM team, you will focus on app-specific strategies to elevate conversions, drive traffic and customer lifetime value.

  • Lead the development and execution of app communications, including push notifications and inbox messages, with a focus on product discovery, sale alerts, and new store announcements.
  • Ensure app messages are thoroughly tested, delivering high-quality communications with minimal errors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure app messaging aligns with broader marketing campaigns.
  • Track and analyze app communication performance, making data-driven decisions to improve conversion rates and engagement.
  • Maintain and update best practices for app communications, ensuring they are continually optimized for mobile user experience.
  • Additional support as the business needs.


Who – The Candidate:

  • You have 3+ years’ experience in mobile app marketing, with a focus on push notifications and in-app messaging.
  • You are knowledgeable about CRM tools and marketing automation platforms for app communications (i.e., Leanplum, Clevertap, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar).
  • You have experience writing and optimizing marketing copy for push notifications, email, or digital campaigns, ensuring it resonates with the target audience.
  • You understand digital marketing, especially within the mobile app ecosystem.
  • You are highly collaborative, with the ability to work across teams to align app communications with broader business goals.
  • You have a passion for creating seamless customer experiences through mobile communications.


How much:

$33-38/hr commensurate with experience + 4% vacation pay.


Where:

REMOTE, open to out of province candidates who are willing to work PST hours.
